DELCO GIRLS CODE
Delaware County Technical High Schools joined the global initiative to nurture girls’ interest in STEM, by providing girls in 6th – 9th grades an opportunity to learn to code and program an app at the Delco Girls Code workshop. The free, 12 week coding workshop implemented the global technology entrepreneurship program for girls, Technovation.
During Philly Tech Week, teams from Delco Girls Code pitched the apps they developed to a panel of local women leaders working in business and technology.
